I think it is ok as long as she was discreet about it. If she wasn't, well then that's different. I was always discreet in public, but really hardly ever did it in a public place because I tried to plan well.

Of course it is okay, but I hope she was discreet and covered. It is not hard to do. Grandma
It is always ok to breastfeed if you keep covered up. Don't let anyone tell you any different.
I guess I was more concerned about the sanitary factor. I don't even eat on the subway and I wash my hands as soon as I get off.
Oh, goodness...well if you waited until you were in a perfectly sanitary setting every time you fed your baby, poor thing would starve.
Besides, the nips he's sucking on wouldn't be touching anything in the subway, or so we hope.
